- Actual "tools"
- Writing, pen & paper, Index cards; diagrams
- Math & Statistics to validate and understand decisions
- Simulations / programs to evaluate things; computers to think for me
- Software
- Tools for building Knowledge Graphs
- Don't necessarily actively think with you: act as a substitute for memory, and help form connections where I wouldn't have otherwise realized they exist.
- There's a massive explosion in these at the moment – particularly with an emphasis on back-links, but it only goes so far?
- Most public online examples are nice, but not life changing.
- Too easy to get sucked into the tool instead of getting any real work done.
- Examples I've tried
- LogSeq lots of good behaviors
- choice of backend
- markdown & org mode

- only supports outlines
- becoming a little complex/heavy

- I wish
- I want an actual tool that interacts with me and helps me think
- For example, while planning out my day; or simply doing roadmapping
- help me assign probabilities to work
- figure out where things can go wrong
- auto generate points to check progress, etc
